Christmas, for many, is the happiest time of year. A time of giving, a time of getting together and enjoying one another. But in the World Wrestling Federation it's a time of TAKING! Grabbing that brass ring. Going for the gold. A time of proving who is the best of the best! Tonight, Christmas comes early. Tonight it's IN YOUR HOUSE 2: SEASONS BEATINGS!! The pay per view opens with an aerial shot of The Boston Garden as a beautiful stage is set up with Christmas lights, a tree and other holiday decorations. We have all of the "reindeer" here as well and... even jolly old Saint Nick himself, Santa Clause! Fake snow falls from the sky as cameras zoom in on Santa, smiling happily as he waves to the crowd and throws gifts out their way. The fans go wild, showing their love of the holiday icon!!
Vince McMahon: Hello, everyone! and WELCOME to IN YOUR HOUSE 2: SEASONS BEATINGS!! We hope you enjoyed the reshow activities on the FREE FOR ALL SPECIAL! I'm your host as always, Vince McMahon! Alongside me is Jerry "The King" Lawler! Hey Jerry... we're walking in a winter wonderland tonight, pal! What do you think about the night's festivities?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah I think it's safe to say the World Wrestling Federation has went all out for this one, McMahon! Not only do we have lights, a tree, presents, Santa Claus himself and all of his reindeer... we've even got snow in an indoor facility! Haha! But the REAL treat tonight is gonna be taking place in the ring!
Vince McMahon: Yes indeed, Jerry, it's eight action packed, amazing matches where I'm sure every man is going to leave it all in the ring! BRET HART is here to defend his newly won WWF television title against a man who came very close to winning that title on Raw if not for the likes of VADER, THE UNDERTAKER! We've got SHAWN MICHAELS fresh off Superkicking WWF commissioner Gorilla Monsoon into oblivion and reforming The Rockers as he faces a man looking to turn around his fortunes, MANKIND! We're then gonna keep the festivities rolling as we settle a feud between REPO MAN and HULK HOGAN after The Repo Man not only stole The Hulkster's motorcycle to cost him the WWF World title, he ALSO eliminated him in the television title battle royal costing him that title as well so you know The Hulkster is looking for revenge tonight!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh yeah? I can say he can seek it until he's blue in the face, he's never gonna find it! Haha! And what about this one, McMahon? THE OUTSIDERS are here and they are going to put their WWF tag team titles on the line against THE NATURAL DISASTERS! That one should be interesting... OH! OH YEAH! And the dominating CRUSH will defend the European title against TAZ!
Vince McMahon: Two very tough men, two very strong men. There's no telling who's gonna win that one! Then there's the intercontinental title match when we see that turncoat MARTY JANNETTY face a man who has completely obliterated any and everything thrown in his path thus far in the World Wrestling Federation, SYCHO SID! He turned his back on his fans and he turned his back on Gorilla Monsoon, a man that has always been there for Marty whenever he hit rough patches in his career or life. He's a piece of scum as far as I am concerned, and I can't wait to see Sid take him to the proverbial woodshed! Then... our MAIN EVENT!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: THAT'S my Christmas present, McMahon! Tonight, we see the young, brash upstart ROCKY MIAVIA dethrone that sickeningly sweet LEX LUGER and take that beautiful WWF World championship title belt home with him! I CAN'T WAIT!!
Vince McMahon: Well I wouldn't rush to that assumption, King, it's anybody's match. What I DO know for sure, though, is it will be a classic! First off, however... speaking of world titles... The man who is about to debut claims he is the REAL world's champion and I've never heard such a ridiculous claim in my entire life! The only real world title is the WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION world title!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Well that may be so, McMahon, but you just wait until you see this man in the ring. He puts Lex Luger to shame! And he may not hold the WWF World title right now, but he may very well soon!
Vince McMahon: Very strong words, Jerry. Let's see if RIC FLAIR can back it up as he goes one on one with the former European champion THE MOUNTIE! And that's right now, let's take it to the ring!
RIC FLAIR vs. THE MOUNTIE
In the opener for Season's Beatings we saw the in ring debut of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair against The Mountie!
The Mountie tried to start things off aggressively with a running clothesline right from the bell, followed by an atomic drop and a knee drop to the face of Flair for a one count.
Flair was able to make the comeback however and began to take Mountie to school after a rake to the eyes. Flair then would follow up with a series of chop blocks, and finish off with a shin breaker.
Later in the match the Mountie would try to come back with hip toss into a headlock, trying to wear Flair down. Flair wouldn't have it though, and was able to get up and irish whip Mountie into the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a sharp knee, sending him flipping completely over and onto the mat.
Flair would now signal for the end and immediately grab the Mountie's legs and lock in his signature Figure Four. The Mountie tried to resist the pain for a moment, but eventually had to tap. Your Winner - Ric Flair!
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Ric Flair
TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
BRET HART vs. THE UNDERTAKER
Match two would see Bret Hart defend his TV Title against The Undertaker!
As the bell began Hart would immediately zone in on The Undertaker's legs with stiff kicks, trying to cut the big man down to size. Undertaker would eventually catch Hart however and in an amazing showing of strength, pick Hart up and toss him into the corner like a ragdoll, before proceeding to furiously punch Hart with powerful lefts and rights.
Later in the match we'd see Taker still in control after a vicious throat thrust and sidewalk slam! Taker would go for the cover, getting a two count.
Hart would come back into it later in the match after a drop toe hold, and then go right back to focusing on the legs of Undertaker, stomping the knees aggressively.
It wouldn't be long until Taker caught another break by catching Hart coming off the ropes, and turning it into a power slam. Taker would then go "old-school" much to the fans delight and walk the ropes before coming off with a huge fist.
The end would come as Undertaker was in full control and signaled for the Tombstone. As Taker bent over to pick Hart up from the canvas, Hart would strike him in the face and quickly roll him up into a pin, barely getting the three count and "stealing" the victory from Undertaker! - Your Winner - Bret Hart!
WINNER BY PINFALL: Bret Hart
Cameras cut back to Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler at ringside.
Vince McMahon: WHAT A MATCH!! Bret Hart was able to pull that one off, but it was barely! Fantastic effort from The Undertaker!!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah, McMahon, but what about Flair? Huh?! I told you, McMahon! I TOLD YOU! That man is the future of the World Wrestling Federation!
Vince McMahon: Yeah, yeah yeah. We'll see, Jerry. We'll see. Can you believe we are just getting started here tonight?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah, right? I can't believe it! Talk about giving the fans their money's worth, that's what the WWF is all about! And you know who else is about that?
Vince McMahon: Who's that, King?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. And he's up NEXT!!
MANKIND vs. SHAWN MICHAELS
Match three would see the deranged Mankind hope to turn things around against a red hot Shawn Michaels.
Mankind would start things off with a running knee, knocking Michaels right outside the ring. He'd waste no time and follow Michaels, assaulting him on the outside with a series of punches before slamming his head into the ring post before tossing him back in the ring.
Later in the match the ever resiliant Michaels would bounce back after a slingshot suplex and a beautiful elbow drop off the top rope for a two count. He'd then sit down on Mankind and furiously strike him with right hands.
Mankind would come back after a clothesline and a ddt, for a two count of his own. He'd then sit down and begin yanking at his own hair out of frustration as Sherri and Jannetty would shout at Michaels from the outside.
The end of the match would come as Mankind looked to put Michaels away with the Mandible Claw. Michaels would duck Mankind's approach, and nail Mankind with a belly to back suplex. As Mankind slowly got to his feet, Michaels would nearly take his head off with Sweet Chin Music, and fall across him for the 1 2 3 as Jannetty and Sherri jumped in the ring to celebrate. Your Winner - Shawn Michaels.
WINNER BY PINFALL: Shawn Michaels
GRUDGE MATCH
REPO MAN vs. HULK HOGAN
The fourth match of the night saw Hulk Hogan attempt revenge on the Repo Man.
Hogan came off strong right from the start with a body slam to Repo Man. He'd then pick Repo Man up and pull off a huge atomic drop and a clothesline for a one count.
Later in the match Repo Man would try to come back with a neck breaker followed by an airplane spin. He'd drop Hogan hard from the spin and then kick him right in the head.
Later on Hogan would fight back with an assault to Repo Man, nailing him repeatedly with stiff punch after punch, backing him into the turnbuckle. Hogan would then irish whip Repo to the opposite turnbuckle, and charge at him with a huge splash.
Repo would eventually take the advantage again after a long back and forth exchange, by nailing Hogan with a running back elbow, and then following up with a pile driver. He'd go for the pin but Hogan would immediately jump up and begin to psych out.
Repo Man would begin punching Hogan, which seemingly had no effect. Hogan would block the last punch and begin an assault of his own before irish whipping Repo and attempting the big boot. Repo Man would duck it however, and kick Hogan right between the legs while the ref wasn't looking.
With Hogan kneeling in pain Repo Man would take advantage and lock him up in his signature Single Leg Crab. Hogan would try to crawl to the ropes, but Repo would pull him right back to the middle of the ring, and Hogan eventually had to tap after a long hard fought battle. Your Winner - Repo Man!
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Repo Man
Repo Man rides out on Hogan's motorcycle, laughing the whole way and almost running poor Santa over before getting to the curtain. We cut back to Vince and Jerry as they prepare to segue us into the next bout of the night!
Vince McMahon: Not the greatest ending for The Hulkster, Jerry.
Jerry Lawler: Yeah, I would say it's safe to say that, McMahon. You know, as much as I hate the guy I will be the first one to say that I hope he's able to turn things around soon, he seems to be in a dark place of late.
Vince McMahon: Yes he does, and we will all have our thoughts and prayers with The Hulkster, but next up is another title match! It's tag team mayhem as The Outsiders defend the WWF tag team championship belts against Earthquake and Typhoon!
WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
SCOTT HALL AND KEVIN NASH vs. EARTHQUAKE AND TYPHOON
The next match was for the WWF Tag Team Titles as The Outsiders defended against The Natural Disasters in a brutal content.
The size of the Natural Disasters worked to their advantage in the early match, with Typhoon being able to dominate Hall with a huge splash in the turnbuckle followed by a clothesline, getting a two count.
Later in the match we saw Earthquake tagged in against Nash. Both men would brawl in the center of the ring, with Nash getting the upperhand with a poke to the eyes of Earthquake, followed by a stiff elbow to the forehead.
Nash still in control would irish whip Earthquake into the turnbuckle, size him up, and then charge in, nailing with a splash of his own. Nash would then tag Hall back in who'd go to work on Earthquake with a series of stomps.
Later in the match Earthquake had found his second wind and was able to drop a huge leg drop across Hall, and then take in Typhoon he charged in and nailed Hall with a sidewalk slam.
The ending of the match would come with Earthquake and Nash battling on the outside while Hall and Typhoon were legal. Typhoon would nail Hall with a huge scoop slam and signal for the end, but out of the crowd, wearing jeans and a t-shirt ran Dustin Rhodes! he grabbed one of the tag team titles from ringside, jumped up on the apron and NAILED Typhoon right in the back of the head with it before putting it back, while the ref was focused on Earthquake and Nash on the outside!
Typhoon fell over face first like a sack of bricks, and Hall still hurt, was able to roll him over lay on top of him as the ref turned around. 1...2...3! Your Winners - The Outsiders.
After the bell rang Dustin Rhodes slide back into the ring.
WINNERS BY PINFALL: The Outsiders
“The Natural” Dustin Rhodes stands tall over the fallen body of Typhoon, spitting on him as Scott Hall uses the ropes to pull himself up to a standing position right beside him and Kevin Nash finishes off Earthquake on the outside with a big boot! The young Rhodes watches from above before rolling out to join his seemingly new associate? No one is really sure of what is going on as most watch on intently. Rhodes now joins Nash and the two work together to get the enormous body of Earthquake up into the air with a Double Jacknife Powerbomb - AND SENDS HIM FLYING OVER THE GUARDRAIL AND INTO THE CROWD, fans scrambling to make it out of the way as they barely escape the flying nearly 470 pound behemoth as he crashes down onto the bare concrete, his body now a lifeless pile of mass.
Vince McMahon: What in the… WHAT IN THE HELL IS THIS?! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! Where is security, huh? Somebody get them out here now. Get the Boston Police Department, I don’t care. Get whoever in the Hell you need to out here NOW! I want these men arrested, this is NOT acceptable!
Scott Hall laughs as he surveys the destruction from the center of the ring. He then rolls out and reaches underneath the ring, pulling out a list of items. He grabs an iron pipe, a baseball bat and a Singapore cane as well as three cans of black spray paint and a bag. Dustin walks over to the time keeper’s table, shoves Howard Finkel down to the ground, and takes the WWF tag team championship title belts He walks over to both Scott and Kevin who now join him and throw the belts over their shoulders. Hall opens up the bag and reveals three black t-shirts.
Jerry Lawler: Here’s more of those shirts. If I was a betting man I would say that their the same shirt as the one these two threw Dustin’s way earlier this week at a house show.
All three men grab a shirt, and put them on - all with a huge NEW WORLD ORDER logo right in the dead center!! The tag team champions both point towards Dustin Rhodes who stands in the middle of them, both arms raised high as he throws up a couple of too sweets! They each pick up a weapon and a can of spray paint and head back into the ring, apparently not finished with Typhoon.
Vince McMahon: Oh no… oh no! Somebody stop them! Ref, do your job!
The referee steps in front of the three men, pleading for them to stop but is answered with a right hand to the jaw from Dustin Rhodes that sends him tumbling to the mat, unconscious. Rhodes and The Outsiders look at each other, then down at the referee… then back at each other. Nash bends down and rips his referee shirt off, revealing his bare back and Scott Hall proceeds to tag his entire back with the letters “nWo”! They’re not about to stop there, though. Oh no! They turn their attention back to the fallen Typhoon who is just now starting to raise his head up off the mat and blindly reach for the bottom rope in an attempt to come to his senses.
Jerry Lawler: It looks like they aren’t done, McMahon. Not by a longshot, unfortunately.
Dustin Rhodes raises his baseball bat high into the air and comes crashing down hard on the left knee of Typhoon! He lets out a blood curdling scream before rolling back and forth on the mat, grasping at his knee in agonizing pain. He signals for Hall and Nash to lift that same leg up onto the second rope, which they do happily. A sick, sadistic grin graces The Natural’s face as he raises the baseball bat high in the air once again! Four security officers storm the ring, grabbing the bat before Dustin can do anymore damage! Dustin spins around and kicks one in the gut! Then a DDT! Nash grabs another, sends him to the ropes… BIG BOOT! Then he lights the security officer up, beating him like a government mule with a Singapore cane, laying into his back with brutal shot after brutal shot that echoes throughout the entire Boston Garden. Meanwhile, Hall brawls with the remaining two, pushing them up to the ropes and then sending them both flying out over the top rope with a double clothesline! Hall picks up the iron pipe and points to one man… the man sitting atop his mighty throne on the stage in front of them jolly old Saint Nick! All three members of the new World order exit the ring and slowly march up the ramp towards Santa, with each passing step Mr. Claus’ anxiety creeping higher. He looks from side to side, waiting for backup but there’s none to be seen. Even his elves hightail it leaving him all alone.
Vince McMahon: What are you waiting on, Santa?! GET OUT OF THERE, PAL!
Santa shakes head violently with his hands up, pleading for the new World order to rethink things as they get closer to the beautiful Christmas themed Seasons Beating set. Santa’s chair, his “reindeer”, a Christmas tree with presents… artificial snow falling from the sky… it’s all there! Hall grabs Santa by the beard, lifting him up off his feet as he looks down at him and mouths something inaudible to the cameras before shoving him down to the ground! He backs up grovelling as Dustin, bat still in hand, smashes the Christmas tree, sendling limbs and shattered ornaments flying everywhere! He pushes it over and starts viciously unwrapping presents, shredded decorative paper flying into the air. One of the presents is a Marty Jannetty headband and armbands which he puts on and starts headbanging and playing air guitar. Kevin Nash is now standing in front of the WWF banner tagging “nWo” over it with his can of paint, Santa begging for mercy as Hall pulls him up by his hair…
Santa Clause: Ho… ho… *cough* no!
Hall sets him up, locks him in, and sends him UP for the Outsiders Edge! Santa goes up… and then flying through the air! SCOTT HALL WITH AN OUTSIDERS EDGE ON SANTA OFF THE STAGE… AND THROUGH A TABLE ONTO THE COLD, HARD CONCRETE!! He then grabs a mic from a nearby production staff member.
Scott Hall: And I heard him exclaim as he fell out of SIGHT...when you're N Dubbya Oooh, you're N Dubbya Oooh...
Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Dustin Rhodes: FOR LIFE!!!
The three embrace in a group hug and trade too sweets as the nWo theme cranks up over the arena sound system, Hall drops the mic, and the three walk through the curtain, hands held high in victory and proud of the wreckage they once again leave behind.
The show continues on almost seamlessly as Taz's music hits and he walks onto the stage and down the ramp menacingly, stepping over the fallen Santa Claus with a towel over his head, ready for his European title match!
WWF EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH
CRUSH vs. TAZ
The next match was for the WWF European Title as Crush defended against Taz!
Crush started things off with a fury as he charged Taz with a big boot and immediately went for a powerbomb, but Taz was able to get away from it.
The match from there was completely one sided as Taz dominated Crush with suplex after suplex, completely wearing the big man down.
Crush would attempt a comeback with a clothesline, but Taz would also duck that, kick Crush, and follow it with a stiff ddt.
The ending would come as Taz would lock Crush into the Tazmission and really cinch it in. Crush would begin bleeding from the mouth, as Taz tightened even harder. The ref had no choice but to call the match. Your Winner and NEW European Champion - Taz!
After the match Crush would lay lifeless, as EMT's rushed the ring to check on him, eventually putting him on a gurney and transporting him out of the arena.
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Taz
Taz celebrates his title win with the debuting Rob Van Dam and Sabu who run out to the ring to join him, the three standing the ring together arms high with Taz proudly hoisting his new WWF gold as production fades into McMahon and King in the booth.
Vince McMahon: We have a new WWF European champion, folks! And we also have what looks to be ANOTHER alliance formed with Taz and the team of Rob Van Dam and Sabu. Three ECW guys, they should be quite a threat for anyone who dares to oppose them. Hey, you know something about ECW don't you, King?
Jerry Lawler: Ugh. Extremely Crappy Wrestling, you mean? Give me a break! Those three chumps are going to be perfect cannon fodder for the new World order, McMahon! Now what are we waiting on? I'm ready to see a Marty Jannetty match, McMahon!
Vince McMahon: Well your wish is indeed my command, Jerry. Lets take it over to The Fink to announce the first competitor in the intercontinental title match!
WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
MARTY JANNETTY vs. SYCHO SID
The seventh match of the night was for the WWF Intercontinental Title and Marty Jannetty would defend against the dominating Sycho Sid.
Sid would start things off with the power advantage by scoop slamming Jannetty right from the lockup. Sid would then pull off a huge hangman's neckbreaker and get the two count.
Jannetty would eventually show why he's the IC Champ as he took it to Sid with a dropkick right to the big man's knees, causing him to fall to his knees. Jannetty would then nail him with a ddt from that position, and score a two count of his own.
As the match went on Jannetty was able to keep the momentum alive as he'd out wrestle Sid with various holds, tiring the big man out, before coming off the rope with a huge top rope splash for another two count.
Sid would attempt to come back using his power by grabbing Jannetty by the hair and literally throwing him across the ring, but Jannetty wouldn't stay down and would bounce back with a kick to Sid's midsection, which Sid would block, and Jannetty would follow up with an Enziguri, sending Sid to the canvas hard.
The ending would come after Jannetty dominated most of the match using his experience and quickness, but one fatal mistake would cost him everything, as he attempted another top rope splash, which Sid caught, turning it into a power slam. Sid would then wait for Jannetty to get to his feet and immediately nail him with the power bomb for the 1 2 3. Your Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion - Sycho Sid.
WINNER BY PINFALL: Sycho Sid
The camera cuts backstage focusing in on the face of Lex Luger. He is looking down and as the camera zooms back to show his body and directly beside him, we can see he is standing at catering with his World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship wrapped around his waist. At the bottom right corner of the television set we see the WWF logo and underneath that logo tells us “RECORDED EARLIER TODAY”. Lex is looking at catering and pointing at some of the food with a smile as the camera zooms back in towards his face as he speaks.
Lex Luger: “This is a good sign of the difference, kids, between achieving your dreams and making excuses. This right here is the difference between – “
Luger glances up from the camera as he catches a look at someone off camera. His expression on his face goes from jovial to serious in an instant as he straightens his posture and squares his body up to the mystery person. The camera zooms out from the close-up to see in front of Lex now, Bret “The Hitman” Hart! Bret is wearing street attire, having the newly released “Hart of Redemption” t-shirt on and has his World Wrestling Federation Television Championship over his shoulder instead of hanging around his waist. Bret has black sunglasses on and is still visually injured from the Vader assault last night as he has his opposite hand around his ribs.
Bret Hart: “Doing a segment for the kids?”
Bret asks casually and Lex’s expression doesn’t change at all.
Lex Luger: “That’s right. A commercial to help fight obesity.”
Lex’s tone is cold. His voice reveals that he is still uncertain of Bret’s sudden change in nature. Bret sighs as he gets some flashbacks to Hogan’s response to him on Monday Night RAW.
Bret Hart: “Look, Lex Luger, I get you may not trust me from what I did to you. First, I cheated you out of a rightful shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship in the cage. Then, I made you fight against me and my brother, Owen, just to get yourself a SHOT at the World Wrestling Federation Championship you’re now carrying. Then, well then,”
Bret looks down and points at the World Wrestling Federation Championship around Lex’s waist as he continues. Lex briefly looks to acknowledge his own status.
Bret Hart: “You beat me and Hulk Hogan for that prestigious championship fairly. No complaints. You won fair and square, and you are now the World Wrestling Federation CHAMPION! And, on that night, you were the BEST. Later tonight, you will have to go prove you are better than Maivia, however, before that you and I have something we have to settle.”
Bret looks like he is going to square up to Lex, before the hand over his ribs reaches out towards Luger offering the handshake.
Bret Hart: “I owe you an apology. Man to man, eye to eye, face to face, I want to tell you I was wrong for how I handled EVERYTHING. I also want to thank you, Lex Luger. You beat me that night and YOUR resilience reminded me what kind of man I used to be. It reminded me of how I need to once again be a champion that the people can be proud of night after night! It reminded me of how I lost focus. So, the next time you and I square up or team up, you will know I am back with the HEART of a champion. I am back as the BEST THERE IS. With that said, I also know you will be the BEST you can be as well. You have earned my respect, Lex.”
After Bret finishes speaking, Lex’s expression and guard lowers. A smile is back on Lex’s face as he, without hesitation, shakes the hand of the Hitman!
Lex Luger: “Look, Bret, we all have our off moments. I get it. You wanted to be there again side-by-side with your brother. I have siblings of my own, and I think ANYONE would understand trying to get one more chance to mend broken relationships. I’m glad now YOU see the way you did all of this wasn’t something to be proud of. I am glad that YOU are fighting day after day to be back on the right side! It’s great to have the REAL Excellence of Execution back!”
Bret smiles at the notion and as the two men release the handshake, he immediately moves his hand back to his hurt ribs.
Bret Hart: “Thank you for accepting my apology man to man.”
Lex Luger: “Yeah, but don’t get it twisted, I’m the best there is.”
A more serious tone is felt from both men as the smiles remain on their faces.
Bret Hart: “I guess some point down the line, when you challenge me for MY World Wrestling Federation Television Championship, we will see who is the REAL BEST THERE IS.”
The camera zooms in on the championship around Bret’s shoulder as both men look at the championship. Lex laughs in a somewhat forced manner.
Lex Luger: “I guess we will. When YOU challenge me for MY World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship. You know, the richest prize in our business.”
Again, both men look at the championship belt in question as the camera zooms back in. This time Bret laughs somewhat awkwardly, the tension grows from the friendly moment between them.
Bret Hart: “Well I guess we can agree to disagree until one of those happens.”
Both men get closer for a moment you can see they are considering another fight between them. Before Lex breaks the tension by genuinely laughing.
Lex Luger: “I guess we can. Later tonight though, you and I both will have to prove who is the BEST when YOU face off against The Undertaker, and I face off against Rocky Maivia.”
A genuine smile of agreement again is on Bret’s face as he responds.
Bret Hart: “That we can agree on. I know you can beat that scumbag, The Rock, so best of luck tonight, Champ.”
Lex Luger: “Same to you, champ. You have a real honorable challenger on the other side of the ring.”
Both men again shake hands as the moment again feels tense. Both men’s smile disappears before reappearing again as Bret walks out of camera with the shot zooming in to Lex’s face before cutting back to ringside.
WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH
LEX LUGER vs. ROCKY MIAVIA
In the Main Event match of the night we saw Rocky Miavia challenge The WWF Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger.
This match was back and forth from the get-go with both men giving it everything they had. Rocky was the first to get a solid offensive going as he took Luger down with a scoop slam followed by some brutal stomps and kicks.
Rocky would then pick Luger up and irish whip him, following up with a Samoan drop for a two count. Rocky would stay on the offensive however and lift Luger up only to turn around and immediately deliver a stiff clothesline, sending him crashing back down.
Later in the match after more brutal back and forth Luger got the advantage with a quick ddt, planting Rocky down hard. Luger would follow up with a knee lift and a vertical suplex for good measure, before getting a two count of his own.
Luger would keep the advantage and dominate Rocky with a military press slam before backing up and waiting for Rocky to stand. Once up, Luger would charge at Rocky attempting to hit his loaded forearm, but Rocky would side step it and toss Luger right over the top rope.
Rocky would now be in control after the action spilled to the outside, and would lift Luger and drop him right across the steel steps before rolling him back into the ring.
Once in the ring Rocky would signal for The People's Elbow, and bounce off the ropes and nail Luger hard with the elbow, driving it right through him. Rocky would go for the pin but Luger would kick out after a long two, much to Rocky's dismay.
The ending would come as both men brawled in the center of the ring, both men trying to get the upperhand. Rocky would then kick Luger in the midsection and attempt The Rock Bottom, but Luger would reverse it, kick Rocky himself, and then hoist him up into the Torture Rack! Rocky fought hard but eventually had to give. Your Winner and STILL WWF CHAMPION - Lex Luger.
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Lex Luger
The arena dims and red, white and blue strobe lights go off, illuminating the ring as Lex Luger is handed his world title and his hand is raised, his first successful title defense now in the books. He jumps up and down excitedly and then heads for the nearest turnbuckle, climbing to the top post and raising the WWF World heavyweight championship high above his head in victory as the crowd goes wild and In Your House 2 fades to a close.
