Thanksgiving dinner has settled and the relatives have all went back home, now it's time to cap off the Thanksgiving holiday right with SURVIVOR SERIES! The scene opens LIVE in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as fireworks erupt from the stage and the cameras span across a sold out crowd that is going wild! We see lots of fans in Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger gear with signs hyping both Hogan and Lex that will be in our main event vying for the world title tonight as well as other big babyface WWF stars like Sting, Marty Jannetty and The Rhodes, all screaming and pointing at the camera before fading into a shot of Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler inside the (now reassembled after the destruction of The Outsiders on Raw) announce booth to open the show.
Vince McMahon: Hello, everyone! We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, but now... now it's time for the greatest part of the holiday! Isn't that right, King?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yes indeed, McMahon! If you thought your Thanksgiving dinner was tasty just look at this masterpiece of a card! We have two of the brightest up and coming stars in the sport, THE ROCK and RAVEN, going one on one and in one I'm especially looking forward to - a huge Survivor Series match with the returning TAZ, CRUSH and THE TRUTH COMMISSION squaring off against the team of STING, SYCHO SID and THE STEINER BROTHERS! I can't wait to see who is the last man - or MEN - standing! It's gonna be great, McMahon!
Vince McMahon: And that's not all. Not even close! "THE AMERICAN DREAM" DUSTY RHODES was already a living legend, but now he has won his first ever World Wrestling Federation title with his young son DUSTIN when they claimed the vacant WWF tag team titles, but now here tonight in Philadelphia they must defend them against, quite frankly, one heck of a tag team! Will SCOTT HALL and KEVIN NASH start their latest run in the WWF on fire or will The Rhodes' be able to extinguish their flames before they even really get going?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Err... too soon, McMahon. I don't want to even THINK about extinguishers.
Vince McMahon: Fair enough. Well then what about the Intercontinental title? MARTY JANNETTY has been quite the busy man of late, winning the intercontinental title and consequently having OWEN HART on his trail as Owen has his sights set on being the next champ and Shawn Michaels has returned to the WWF with the intention of making Marty's life living hell apparently! Between those two threats it's been a downhill slide for Marty, can he turn it around tonight by beating Owen Hart one on one and retaining his intercontinental title?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: NO! I'll go ahead and answer that question right now, McMahon. Yeah, Marty had quite a streak of luck for once in his life last month. But this one? Look, The Heartbreak Kid is living inside Marty Jannetty's mind rent free! That loser can't buy a win lately! And you know? I'd bet the same thing is going to happen as it's been happening for weeks: The Hart Foundation is going to get the upper hand on Marty Jannetty AGAIN and Owen Hart is going to walk out of here with the intercontinental title, refurbishing it's integrity if you will.
Vince McMahon: I think that's a Dusty Rhodes copyright, King. Don't be surprised if you hear from his lawyers soon. But to cap it all off tonight in what should be one of the most action packed events in the history of professional wrestling - Canadian icon BRET "THE HITMAN" HART defends his WWF world championship against two American heroes in LEX LUGER and HULK HOGAN!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: You know what, McMahon? Bret "The Hitman" Hart has been nothing short of a train wreck since he conned his brother into giving up his opportunities and CHEATING to win the WWF world title.
Vince McMahon: You... you of all people talking about cheating being wrong?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: You know what, McMahon? I might cheat but at least I do it RIGHT! And all by myself. And then I don't go and drag everyone around me down afterwards either like that chump Bret.
Vince McMahon: Well we will see if Bret keeps that belt in just a couple of hours here everyone! It's time to kick off the night's festivities! Lets take it over to the ring where Howard Finkle is standing to announce the competitors for our first match of the night!
RAVEN vs. ROCKY MIAVIA
The first match of the night saw Raven up against The Rock in one hell of an opener.
Both men gave it their all and Raven was the first to take a real advantage with his signature discus clothesline. He was able to follow that up with a hard scoop slam and a leg drop from the second rope for a two count.
Later in the match The Rock was able to reverse a Russian leg-sweep and follow through with a neckbreaker. He waited for Raven to get to his feet and attempted The Rock Bottom, which Raven spun out of, only for The Rock to come back with a stiff DDT, not giving Raven an inch.
The ending of the match would come as both men were on the outside brawling. Neither man gave an inch. The Rock wound land a hard right, and Raven would follow with one of his own. Meanwhile the ref in the ring would begin a 10 count. Both men ignored the counts and continued to brawl up the ramp as officials ran out to try to separate them. The ref eventually made it to the 10 count and the bell rang as both Rock and Raven fought through the curtain and out of sight.
No Winner - Double Count Out!
WINNER: Draw
SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH
THE TRUTH COMMISSION, CRUSH AND TAZ vs. THE STEINER BROTHERS, SYCHO SID AND STING
In the second bout and the traditional Survivor Series tag match we saw two teams in an all out war.
Sniper started things off against Sting and got the early advantage by pummeling the Stinger with furious rights and lefts. Sting was able to come back quick though with a huge back body drop and a clothesline right out of the ring to Sniper!
After a few moments Sting was dominating and would plant Sniper with a dangerous looking piledriver for an early 1 2 3, eliminating Sniper.
Later in the match we saw Crush tagged in against Rick Steiner. Rick fought hard and pulled off a massive vertical suplex and a running bulldog on Crush for a close two count. The end came however for Rick after a huge boot to the face by Crush, followed by a devestating powerbomb, almost mocking Sid who looked on. Crush with the cover for the three, eliminating Rick Steiner.
Next in was a fiery hot Scotty Steiner and he charged Crush in revenge of his brother. Scotty connected with a beautiful running drop kick to Crush sending the big man off balance before being caught by a stiff clothesline from Crush in retaliation.
Moments later Crush tagged in Recon and Recon attempted a beat down on Scotty, and was able to land an impressive back suplex but only got a one count. Scotty would bounce back and connect with a back elbow to the head of Recon, followed by a belly to belly suplex and would get the three on Recon, thus eliminating him!
Next we saw Crush charge in and blindside Scotty, grabbing him and hoisting him up in a chokehold before slamming him down on the mat and laughing at Sid who still looked on. Crush then picked Scotty up and Scotty tried to fight back with punches to the midsection but Crush would land a knee right to the head of Scotty, and follow up with another powerbomb to get the 3 fall, thus eliminating Scotty Steiner.
Crush stood in the ring as Sting came back in, but before engaging, Sting held up a finger as to say "wait a second" and then tagged in Sid. Crush looked furious and the two giants went at it.
It was an all out war between Sid and Crush as both men were able to land big powerful moves on one another. Sid finally got the advantage with a big boot however, and followed up with a powerbomb of his own to Crush. He screamed "That's how it's DONE" before pinning Crush for the 1 2 3. Crush has been eliminated!
The ending of the match came as Taz was the only one left on his team and the Brooklyn native went to work on Sid and proved sometimes size doesn't matter. He was able to pull off a scoop slam on Sid, lifted him up and immediately followed with the Tazmission. Sid, using all his strength was able to get to his feet with Taz still on his back, and fall into his corner where Sting was able to make the tag!
Sting ran in but Taz was waiting. Taz would connect with a stiff kick to the midsection and pull off a huge belly to back suplex but would only get a two. Taz picked Sting up and attempted another suplex, Sting reversed it into a neckbreaker, and immediately locked in the Scorpion Deathlock. Taz tapped after a long hard fight, and your winners - Sting and Sid!
SURVIVOR(S): Sting and Sycho Sid
WINNERS BY PINFALL: The Steiner Brothers, Sycho Sid and Sting
Cameras cut back to Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler at ringside.
Vince McMahon: Survivor Series is off to a hot start, that Survivor Series match was something else! What a return from TAZ, huh, King? He was a man on fire but the power of two men like STING and SYCHO SID combined turned out to be just a little too much from the Human Suplex Machine in the end there.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah, McMahon, but lets not forget THE TRUTH COMMISSION and CRUSH, either! Just a great match all the way through. Even those two goofs THE STEINER BROTHERS were great!
Vince McMahon: I would watch my words, Jerry. The Steiners are two big, strong guys.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah, yeah yeah. Whatever, McMahon. Heck of an opener with that battle between RAVEN AND ROCKY MIAVIA, too!
Vince McMahon: Yes it was! Just a shame we couldn't determine a winner here tonight. Good news, however, fans. Word I'm receiving is that those two will be squaring off again on Raw next week with a tiny little twist. I couldn't get anymore info at the moment but I would say that alone is reason enough to tune into Raw next Monday night! Moving right along here in Philadelphia, the tag team title match is next! It's the champions DUSTIN and DUSTY RHODES as they defend the straps against SCOTT HALL and KEVIN NASH!
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Ooooh, I can't WAIT for that one, McMahon!!
WWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
DUSTIN AND DUSTY RHODES vs. SCOTT HALL AND KEVIN NASH
The third match of the night was for the WWF tag team titles and we saw The Outsiders up against the champions - Dusty and Dustin Rhodes!
The match started off hot and heavy as Dusty took to Hall with educated fists, stunning and knocking Hall down as the fans went crazy. Hall would attempt to come back however with an irish whip to Dusty and an attempted fallaway slam, however the weight of Dusty was able to send Hall off balance and Dusty would fall across him for a two count.
Later in the match Dustin and Nash had been tagged in and Nash was able to take the advantage over Dustin with several knee strikes to the gut. Nash would then irish whip Dustin into the turnbuckle and follow up with a massive splash in the corner.
Dustin would eventually be able to tag in a fresh Dusty, who went to work on Nash with a back body drop and a turnbuckle splash of his own.
The ending would eventually come as it looked like the Rhodes family would keep their titles. Dustin and Hall were battling on the outside and Dusty and Nash were the legal men. Nash was able to pull a pair of brass knuckles out of his waistband and nail Dusty right in the head with them however. The ref was distracted by the outside action and didn't see a thing. Nash quickly slid the knuckles out of the ring and covered a completely knocked out Dusty Rhodes for the 1 2 3. Your winners and NEW World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions - The Outsiders.
WINNERS BY PINFALL: Scott Hall and Kevin Nash
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash embrace in celebration as the referee hands them their new title belts to which they accept and hold up high in the air victoriously as Dusty Rhodes remains face up on the mat motionless. Dustin sits in the corner of the ring, his face buried into his palms in disbelief.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Oh no, McMahon. Look at poor little Dustin, his dumb streak of luck finally ran out and he lost a match. Oh boo hoo. Him and his fat daddy are no longer tag team champs and it's GREAT! Haha! You know what, McMahon? This moment and seeing that look of bewilderment in Dustin was worth it, I don't even care that they almost broke my legs with Jim Ross's body, I LOVE THE OUTSIDERS! HAHA!
Vince McMahon: My goodness. You just don't know when to stop, do you?
Hall and Nash too sweet each other and make their way out of the ring and up the ramp slowly, backpedaling as they proudly hold their new trophies high and soak in the sight of a defeated and deflated Dustin and Dusty Rhodes with the biggest grins on their faces possible. The finally turn around when they reach the curtain, heading back to their locker room to grab the champagne. When we turn attention back to the ring we see Dustin Rhodes standing over his fallen father. He grabs him up under his arms and drags him over to the turnbuckle, placing The American Dream in a sitting position. Dustin then demands Howard Finkel's microphone, to which The Fink promptly runs over and hands him. Dustin kneels down in front of Dusty and taps the microphone to make sure it's hot before speaking.
Dustin Rhodes: What the fuck, dad?! HUH?! I get to the World Wrestling Federation and I go undefeated, perfect record... I get to the World Wrestling Federation and I finally win a championship title for the Rhodes name. And oh yeah, you can guarantee-fuckin'-tee I'M the reason we won those titles! And now you - you fat slob son of a bitch - you've ruined it all! And you're right, I DIDN'T have to ask you to team with me... because I didn't! And I never would have! You're the one who volunteered me to tag team with you and carry your fat ass!
The crowd gasps in surprise at what the young Dustin is saying to his father. The complete disrespect he is now showing him after all of the heartwarming moments we have seen between the two of them over the past almost two months.
Vince McMahon: Oh my -- we apologize for this language from young Dustin, ladies and gentlemen! He's obviously upset and doesn't have his head on straight here. And what the -- what's he doing now, King?!
Dustin slaps the taste right out of his daddy's kisser, sending the auditory feedback echoing throughout the entire Philadelphia Spectrum. But he doesn't stop there, he then rears back with his foot and kicks forward as hard as he can, almost breaking his father's jaw and sending his body hurling downwards to the mat, landing with a hard thud. A broken tooth hits the ground beside his head.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: He just kicked the teeth right out of his mouth, McMahon! My God, even I don't see how a man could do this to his own father. Now there's a pool of Dusty's blood gathering on the mat, it's just pouring out of his mouth. That has to be several teeth he knocked out there, McMahon! I think the Rhodes family reunion may be cancelled this year.
Dustin looks down at his father in disgust, and then out to the crowd which has completely and utterly turned against this heartless bastard he is revealing himself to be. He smirks and brings the microphone back up to his mouth.
Dustin Rhodes: Alright, boo me. I don't give a damn. Is that the best you've got?! HUH?! Because all this negative energy and negative emotions you're throwing my way? Yeah, it should be towards this piece of garbage laying on the mat in front of my boots! Dusty Rhodes, everybody. The American Dream. He was never father of the year though, I can tell you that! And dream? I wish my childhood had've been nothing but a dream. Unfortunately it was very, very real. Never having your father at home. Hell, barely ever even hearing from him because he's too damn busy TO GIVE HIS OWN SON A SIMPLE PHONE CALL! Maybe it was for the best because when he WAS around all there was was constant fighting between him and my mother. And when they weren't fighting and he was away wrestling in whatever God forsaken town it was that night, she was sitting on the couch or lying in bed sobbing because she knew you were going to be with another random woman for the night, isn't that right, dad? HUH?!
Dustin looks down at Dusty who is now starting to snap to it slightly, his hand trembling as he begins to reach for the bottom rope. Dustin kicks the arm away and spits on the body of his fallen father! The camera cuts to the front row where Dustin's lovely wife Terri Rhodes is sitting along with their beautiful 2 year old daughter. Dustin looks out to them, seeing the look of approval in his wife's eyes as she nods devilishly, enjoying every moment of seeing her father in law being destroyed.
Dustin Rhodes: And then you had the audacity to force me into this circus clown show! And not only that, but cast the biggest shadow over me that has ever been seen by man! And then you had everybody start calling me The Natural. I'm sure as some nod to yourself and your "amazing genes", right? RIGHT?! Because that's all it's EVER been about! YOU!! If you had the energy to raise your head -- no -- you know what. Look! I WANT YOU TO LOOK, DAMMIT!
Dustin violently grabs his father's head and holds it up, pointed directly towards his wife and daughter. Dusty stares blankly as a mixture of blood and slobber rolls down his mouth and chin.
Dustin Rhodes: You see that right there? That's your beautiful daughter in law and granddaughter, Dusty. Those are the mouths you just took food out of by costing the man of their household his title and his payday! You can kiss the both of them goodbye, they're not your family anymore and they never will be again! In fact, you can kiss me goodbye too! Because I don't ever want to have anything to do with you again! DO YOU HEAR ME?! In fact, baby... come on up here. We're gonna finish this once and for all. Security, help her and my daughter over the guardrail and into this ring.
Security at the Philadelphia Spectrum obliges and helps Mrs. Rhodes and her lovely daughter over the guard railing and up the steps where Dustin is holding the ropes open for them and they get inside the ring with him. Dustin looks over at his father and smirks, walking up to him, grabbing him by the hair, and pulling him to his feet. He slaps Dusty a few more times and then shoves him into the corner! He then sets Dusty up, throwing each leg over the middle rope one at a time. He's preparing him for the Unnatural Kick! He walks over to his wife, grabs their daughter, and whispers in her ear. She laughs, runs towards Dusty... AND KICKS HIM STRAIGHT IN THE CROTCH! Dusty Rhodes lets out a blood curdling scream that echoes throughout the entire building, his testicles probably crushed by his daughter in law's designer shoe.
Dustin Rhodes: (Impersonating his father's voice) Ouch. That one's gotta hurt if you will now, baby.
Dustin's theme hits as he drops the mic grabs the hand of his wife, exits the ring, and the Rhodes family heads up the ramp and to the curtain, fighting rabid fans along the way and being covered with drinks and concessions as fans throw everything at them that they can get their hands on. Dustin's daughter starts crying, not understanding what is going on as they pass through the curtain and into the backstage area out of sight.
We go back to the announce booth where Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler stare at each other in shock as medics rush the ring to attend to Dusty Rhodes.
Vince McMahon: Jerry, I... I don't know what to say, Jerry.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Let's - Let's take everyone backstage where we have a message from THE REPO MAN!
The view cuts to the backstage parking garage where we see Repo Man standing in front of a row of vehicles. He rubs his palms together and laughs with excitement.
Repo Man: hehehehehe ladies and gentlemen I am here at Survivor Series not to wrestle a match oh no! Hehehe you see there's a particular superstar here tonight who hasn't made his payments and I'm here to repossess!
Repo Man chuckles and continues as he looks around both directions, obviously paranoid.
Repo Man: Survivor Series is a very big show oh yeah hehehe big night for a lot of people and an even bigger one for me! Cause what I'm about to repossess tonight is going to send waves throughout the world wrestling federation! Stay tuned boys and girls cause things are gonna get interesting! Toooootallooooo!
The Repo Man waves at the camera before darting back behind a vehicle and out of sight. The feed cuts back to ringside where the next match of the night is about to begin.
WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
MARTY JANNETTY vs. OWEN HART
The fourth match was for the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship and saw Marty Jannetty take on Owen Hart!
Owen went right to work on Jannetty, attempting to show the world he IS the best Hart. Owen worked the legs of Jannetty with a huge shin breaker followed by stomps to the legs.
Later in the match Jannetty was able to mount a comeback with a textbook standing drop kick. As Owen got up Jannetty pulled off a snapmare into a headlock.
After several more exchanges in what was shaping up to be the most exciting match of the night we saw Owen get another advantage after his signature enziguri and would get a two count.
Moments later after a huge back body drop to Owen, Jannetty would climb the ropes and come off with a flying body press for a two count of his own!
The ending would soon come however as suddenly Sherri Martel would walk down to ringside on a mission. Once at ringside she stood neutral for a moment just watching the action before making her move.
Owen and Jannetty would trade more blows before Jannetty would accidently bump the ref, knocking him down. Owen would take advantage of the confusion and slam Jannetty's head into the turnbuckle before irish whipping him into the ropes.
Jannetty however would grab the ropes instead of bouncing forward, which caused Owen to charge at him in a clothesline attempt over the rope. At this point Sherri removed her heel and planted it right across the skull of Owen! Jannetty rolled him up as the ref was stirring to slowly make the three count! Your winner - Marty Jannetty!
After the match Sherri looked shocked by what happened and slowly walked back up the ramp. Jannetty stood in the ring for a moment looking at the heel laying in the ring before the feed cut to the backstage area.
WINNER BY PINFALL: Marty Jannetty
Todd Pettengill is backstage right behind the curtain, microphone in hand as he waits to get a word with "Sensational" Sherri Martel as soon as she comes through the curtain. She steps through the curtains in a hurry, shaking his head back and forth and repeating the word "No." over and over. Todd places his arm out to block her from going any further.
Todd Pettengill: Woah, woah woah! Hold on just a second, Sherri! Can we get a word with you? What was that out there? You are the manager of "the Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and you just helped his former best friend and now bitter enemy retain his Intercontinental championship! Obviously that had to have been an accident?
Sherri can do nothing but continue to shake her head back and forth. Todd, seeing this is going nowhere, spots Owen coming through the curtain. He lets Sheri go, smiles, and walks over to Owen to get a word with him.
Todd Pettengill: Owen! Tough break out there tonight, your manager was banned from ringside and Shawn Michaels' manager, of all people, comes out to nail you with a high heel and cost you the Intercontinental championship. It's been a tough couple of months for you and--
Owen Hart punches Todd Pettengill square in the mouth, sending him flying back into the wall! Pettengill's body smashes against the wall and then slides down to the floor like a splattered tomato.
Owen Hart: I was just screwed! AGAIN! If it's not my brother it's Marty Jannetty or Shawn Michaels screwing me over! OH - or Gorilla Monsoon by banning my manager or assigning stupid guest referees! WELL I'VE HAD ENOUGH! I'M DONE WITH MY BROTHER AND I'M DONE WITH THE GAMES! You want a word from me, punk? HUH?! From now on Owen focuses on Owen and ONLY Owen! That's all anyone needs to know! I should be the world champion right now, DAMMIT!
Owen storms off, leaving Todd Pettengill holding his jaw in pain as the camera zooms in on him.
Todd Pettengill: Oh well. At least I finally got some screen time again.
Production cuts back to Vince and Jerry at ringside.
Vince McMahon: Not a good night to be Todd Pettengill.
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Come on, McMahon. Is ANY night a good night to be Todd Pettengill? Not a good night to be Sherri Martel either, though. Shawn Michaels may just murder her and hide the body!
Vince McMahon: Yes, indeed. He can't be happy about Marty Jannetty retaining his title, that's for sure! And Owen Hart looks like a man on a mission. It'll be interesting to see where that goes with this supposed new attitude of his, that's certain. Does this mean The Hart Foundation is done?
Jerry "The King" Lawler: Good riddance if so! The Hart Foundation is done and now let's see Bret Hart's career end. HAHA!! It's main event time and the world title is on the line! Let's take it to The Fink who's inside the ring to introduce the competitors!
The camera cuts to Howard Finkel as he announces the challengers, Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger to the ring as well as the current WWF world champion, Bret Hart. It's time for the main event of the night!!
WWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
BRET HART vs. LEX LUGER vs. HULK HOGAN
The Main Event of the night for the World Wrestling Federation World Championship saw The Champion Bret Hart take on Lex Luger and Hulk Hogan and in an exciting triple threat. Each man had an impressive entrance, but Hogan really earned some cheers as he rode out on a black Hulkamania themed motorcycle!
The match got under way and Hogan and Luger glanced at each other and nodded, and then immediately both locked hands and performed a double clothesline on Bret.
From there it would go from bad to worse as both men would team up on Bret to completely dismantle him. Hogan would hit the big boot followed by the leg drop, and Luger would pick Bret up and lift him into the torture rack before dumping him clean over the top rope to the outside - where he stayed completely out cold.
The rest of the match became a one on one against the two American greats as Luger and Hogan would trade blow for blow. Hogan would get the upper hand first with a massive body slam and knee drop right to the face of Luger before getting a one count.
Later in the match Luger would bounce back with a vertical suplex and a running forearm smash for a two count, which caused Hogan to psych up and point "no way" at Luger. Luger would attempt a strike to Hogan, which was blocked. Hogan went into overdrive with furious rights to Luger, backing him into the ropes and pulling off an irish whip. Luger on the rebound got caught with a big boot and went down hard. Hogan took a little too long catering to the fans however and when he finally attempted the leg drop, Luger was able to roll out of the way.
The ending came after another long back and forth with neither man getting the real advantage, but finally things would change for Luger. Suddenly out of nowhere the REPO MAN showed up and hopped on Hogan's motorcycle! Hogan turned to look in shock and that's all it took for Luger to sneak in behind, lift him up into the torture rack, and solidify his win as Hogan couldn't resist the pain for long. Your winner and NEW World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion - LEX LUGER!
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Lex Luger
The crowd goes insane as the bell rings and a new WWF champion is crowned! Repo Man gleefully drives off on Hulk Hogan's motorcycle as fireworks go off and red, white and blue confetti begins to fall out of the sky. The referee hands Lex Luger his new championship belt and raises his hand high in the air victoriously as Survivor Series ends with Lex Luger almost in tears due to this monumental moment in his career.
